Just prior to lockdown in March 2020 almost a year ago, one of our home grown junior squash talents, Don Calvert broke into Englands top 10 ranked players in the boys U11 age category!! Frustratingly since that time there haven’t been any tournaments for Don to keep his charge going, but we want to celebrate Don’s fantastic achievement so far!!
As his coach, I am incredibly proud of Don, he has a fantastic attitude towards training and competition, he loves the game, works hard, is extremely polite, and brilliant to work with. Don is definitely an exciting prospect for the future, and if all the older players had moved out of the age category and Don retained his spot, he would now be ranked at No.3 according to England Squash! So watch this space and well done Don, keep up the amazing work!
