As one of the very best tennis clubs in West Yorkshire, Queens boasts truly excellent tennis facilities and coaching for all standards from beginners to advanced players.Head coach Simon Taylor has been at the club for over 20 years and has built a very successful coaching program and reputation. His team run a program from group sessions to individual lessons, 7 days a week.
Courtside Gym
Queens Sports Club offers a well-equipped gym with a range of TechnoGym cardiovascular machines, fixed weights including cable machine, squat rack, free weights and functional equipment.
We promote a warm and friendly community available to all fitness levels, abilities and training backgrounds. Our enthusiastic and experienced coaches will always be on hand to offer guidance and a safe environment.
Classes are available to provide coached group training that are both challenging and great fun, including circuit training, ladies only classes and core specific workouts. The club offers Personal Training to suit all requirements whether it’s sport specific coaching, general fitness or rehabilitation.
Squash and Racketball
Welcome to the Squash and Racketball department at Queens!
Whether you are complete beginner or a seasoned pro, there is plenty on offer for you to get involved with. We are proud to nuture squash from grass roots through to international levels in our friendly, social and inclusive club environment.
Our head coach, Sarah Campion (nee Kippax) is a former professional player, who competed on the World Tour for over a decade. During the course of her career she was ranked in the World’s top 15, was a regular England international and competed in 2 Commonwealth Games. Recently Sarah won an England Squash coaching award for her work and initiatives supporting the #SquashGirlsCan campaign, and in 2020 she became the Over 35 British National Champion.
Queens has a proactive and thriving Squash and Racketball section, which caters for all ages and ability levels. We are lucky to have complete beginners to World champions gracing our courts and are proud of our prestigious history.

Bar
We have a fully licensed bar with room hire available for parties of up to 120 people. It’s here we run our social events, quizzes and live entertainment. With our large outside balcony overlooking the outdoor courts, it’s a great place to have a drink and catch up with your friends after playing or working out.
